In this tutorial I explain an easy way to create the relief on a polygonal surface using the bump form of mia material mental ray shader. In this video tutorial i use one of most simply method, create the node linking the miss_set_normal, bump2d, and texture placement. Watch the video tutorial and be able you to create surfaces with relief of every kind in maya.

To create the final bump map, the mortar lines are combined with the flat shades of whole tile, and a high contrast black and white image of the wall. This will a create a very realistic illusion of a 3D wall. The following node is used in the videotutorial is this:
